The short version

markdossier does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Your files stay on your Mac. That's it.

What we collect

Nothing. markdossier is a fully local application. It does not:

Collect personal information
Track usage or analytics
Send telemetry or crash reports
Require an account or login
Connect to any server or cloud service
Use cookies, pixels, or tracking technologies

Your files

All files you open, edit, or create in markdossier are read from and written to your local filesystem only. The app accesses files through standard macOS file system APIs and the App Sandbox. No file contents are ever transmitted off your device.

App Store

markdossier is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect purchase and download information as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Apple ID or payment information.

This website

The markdossier.com website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-first analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not track individual users, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. It measures aggregate page views only.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Given the local-only nature of the app, we do not anticipate changes.
